Hey, i like your 3d concepts, you should try to put them into a scene instead of just t-pose renders. give them some environment, compose an interesting shot (the warrior e.g. could look cool shot from below standing on a cliff on a far away planet or in soe sort of wasteland?
try to light it interesting :)
my advice regarding your paintings would be to practice drawing more to get a feelign for propoertions and maybe you can try to use colors more deliberatly. try to balance thigns out and to create a focal point. for exaple in the picture from post nr2 everything is very saturated. you could try to tone down the background, make it less saturated and a bit darker to make the figure pop out. you could try to put a bit more time into rendering out the face so you have a variety in shading details, looks more itneresting than when the whole image is rendered the same way!

imi plac in special englezul cu sosetele si desenele in tus din primul post (soldatul in perspectiva). cat despre modelele 3d, cred ca ar trebui sa folosesti texturi ceva mai variate si fotorealiste. sunt prea repetitive, plane, plictisitoare.

i like the englishman with the socks and the inks in the first post (the lying soldier). about the 3d models, i think you should use more realistic and varied textures. they look to repetitive, flat and boring.

Hey man, pretty nice stuff! Looks like you're on the right track to be top tier 3d.

One thing of notice, watch your materials on your more finished characters. They are all reading as the same sort of materials. I don't know too much about 3d, but you should try and distinguish between metal armor, and cloth capes better, for example.

Your watercolours are looking good, as well as your 3d models. The biggest thing I can see, is that you tend to do your heads really small, especially the cranium part.
Try: 1 to make the cranium bigger in proportion to the rest of the head
2 to make the whole head bigger in proportion to the body.

You can take the original photo and your 3d model, and overlap them in Photoshop, to see where are the wrong parts.
Anyway, nice work! keep it up man:)

Post 53 and 54 are the most striking of your 3d work... nice work :)

Your 3d portraits are also a very nice. They are probably harder to pull off then from life since you don't have binocular 3d vision of the subject to grasp the 3d form, it may help if you spend a bit more time observing the source, on both of them for example the forehead is a bit off, on the first one there is a bulge that I don't see in the source, and the second forehead is slanted at a different angle.

If you go for super-likeness check and re-check proportions, vertical aligned elements, horizontal aligned elements, positive and negative shapes . Keep rocking :).

I think all you need to do to push your 3d images is to paint some realistic textures on the materials to make them look less 3d application plastic and more life like. great stuff though i never had the time or the patience to do much 3d character work. look forward to seeing more!!

salutare! nu prea intru pe CA...desi ar fi bine sa stau pe aici mai mult...fain sketchbooku;) imi amintesc ca team vazut is pe VA, esti de la arte? asa per total imi plac naturile tale statice, iti merge mana foarte bine la alea, si vad ca te misti bine si la 3duri. La linie sa vezi ce faci, este ea exacta dar e oarecum seaca, nu are o modulatie. sa incerci sa lucrezi cu laturile minei de creion, asta implica nu neaparat doar creioane bine ascutite si sa incerci linii mai lungi. bafta multa!

You've got a strong comic book style here! Keep working on doing more anatomy studies though, it will help strengthen the proportions of your characters. You also might want to incorporate some of the surrounding colors when you do a painting too, like the bounced light. For example in "meluda" her skin stands out too much, it should have some of the green colors in it from her dress and darker shadows too.
