freelance pricing?

I've tried a few different methods with freelance rates and am curious how other people approach it. Do you like to do a per piece price? By the hour? by the week? other?

Your skill
Your experience
Your reputation
Your portfolio
Your body of work
Your market
Your customer's budget
Your customer's ease of satisfaction

Rank each one from one to ten for the images you discuss. Add them all up and charge that per hour for how long it takes you to create a work from start to finish.
