This is the group sketchbook of Fernando Teixeira (A tua mãe) and Pencilgeek.

The rules are as follows:


1. at least 2-4 art pieces for the weekdays.
2. Nothing is required on weekends, unless you are behind on the weekday's art.
3. Any medium, any topic, any art.

hey man. this last skelaton is very well done. nice line quality. Just one thing: for the next time post all the images on one reply only please.:eyeloss:


EDIT: I only now saw you felt forced to post images yesterday, but I didnt mean that when I said "at least 2-4 art pieces for the weekdays". (my english is no good). I just meant you had to post 2/4 images for week. Doesnt matter if you post them all in one time or if you post more than 4. The only real thing that matters is that you draw and show.

Pencilgeek: try to spend more then 5-10 minutes per sketch... if you do a study or pencil rendering.. start by setting your goals at 2-4 hours per rendering... thats when you will really start to learn.. and you will have to go through so much more concentration compared to throwing out a half decent half done pencil sketch with no second thought to contrast, anatomy , light and so on....

Yes Dile, in fact seems very compensating in a medium/long time from now.


Look, (I dont even know your name yet, so I'll just call you pencilgeek). I'm in kind of a problem. I'm going to vacations tomorow and I wont be able to post for one week. I know I'm breaking the rules. Would that be a problem to you?? I promisse to compensate as soon as I come back home.


By the way, some advice. (the same one Dile gave you).

Take longer time for one draw. Give more attention to angles (internals and externals), curvatures and then, in the rendering take long time with the diferent tones and textures. In this way you are going to remember much better the image when you are drawing with no ref.

keep on:wink: and I'll bring a lot of drawings when I come back
