where to begin...
the first guy, his leg guards would make it impossible for him to move. and his gun in the sling sticking out that far it would just fall out.
the second guy, his swords sticking way out of its scabbard. is that why his arms chopped off?
the last one its legs are too short.
i like the last one the best of the 3.

MattyMoo: The amount of detail is impressive - to a degree. Designing something to this extent needs plenty of developement. My suggestion would be to start with the basics. Give yourself time to progress with anatomy and proportion. The details on the surface would be helped with good figure drawing underneeth. With good figure drawing skills you'd also be able to create more dynamic poses that would make your characters less stiff.
I, along with others on this fine forum have recommended the study of anatomy and figure drawing before - with this link to a great teaching artist as a start...

Look up more of his books and other good anatomy books and give the practice a whirl. Post your progress, I'm sure you'll do well! :)
