Hi everyone,

I thought I would share with you all some of the work I had done...these were sort of unofficial test models for a company I was hoping to seek a position for:

Hope you like them.

I have to totally agree wtih meesta. Breathtaking!

Were these done for Blizzard? The girl looks very similar to the character in Starcraft:Ghost.

The texturing on the orc head is nice.

The proportions look wrong. I cannot decide where. Either the shoulder boards are too large or the head is too small.

An orc should burst his armor, not be swallowed by it.

Overall very very nice, it's just that her leg armor doesn't read like it can bend at the knee.

Ive seen your stuff on some forums some time ago...lol, its pretty solid work. Definitely professional level, and I'm sorry that you did not get the spot (was it blizzard?). Im sure that if you just keep working, keep the creativity flowing, you can blow away any company :)

hey - looks great! I have heard many people say that their dream job is to work for blizzard, but you seem to have a better chance than most.

One crit is that the light patches on his shoulderpad texture seem too evenly spaced apart and too similar in scale. I think that breaking these up a bit, possibly more variation in color would help a lot.

...I have to disagree with Howdy....

Checked your website Alex, and the proportions on the female are so spot on. She's not too over the top in the breast dept, and her head is perfect!
The Orc is cool too. He's got a great expression and I love his jagged teeth!

The orc looks almost similar to the Warcraft Hero of the Orc Tribes. Very nice modeling. The armor looks very heavy. Awsome skills you have my friend. And indeed, if you submited for a job at Blizzard and you didn't get it with this well, I have to say that the rest of us are really screwed.
Good luck with your portfolio and with the job searching and post more of your work.
