View Full Version : FACTOR 2 -- Help wanted!

We are a new team of dedicated and talented developers who has started up a project with the workingname Factor 2.
Factor 2 is a space simulator with references towards Elite, Frontier, Freelancer and similar games. Most of the information about this game can be found in our design document linked below so I won’t introduce it more than this.

It is a hobby project so noone in the team are expecting any profits from this or does have any pressure on themselves. Now that we have struggled through a lot of the initiate design and concept phase we have decided to start recruiting other talented people for this project.
What we need at this stage is a few more graphic artists:

3D modeler
Requirements
Experienced in 3DSMax or Maya
Basic knowledge in lowpolygon modeling and texturing
Able to extract concept art into a working 3Dmodel.

Texture Artist
Requirements
Experienced in Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or similar
Ability to maintain a, by design, given mood throughout a game
Basic knowledge in modeling and texturing techniques

Concept Artist
Requirements
Must be able to follow a given design and mood throughout a game
Must be able to express ideas from different angles if necessary
Visionary and freshthinking

Did put up a new screen for you.
As you can see it's a project with both ambitions and talent but the concepts doesn't have to be Highest quality pics. But it MUST be innovative and tickling for the mind!

Remember it's a hobby project so cmon be a part of something creative, bring it on and send me more mails!

Most important skill is that you are dedicated and innovative!
