Cool looking character. And the animation looks smooth.
8 out of 10 for me.

Would have liked some sound effects though:)

And if this is a study for something larger?

Where Inky slams himself into the ground looks a bit soft, and I think it might be because his eyes pop out of his head right hwne he makes contact with the ground. It sort of softens the impact of such a violent motion...what if they popped out a frame or two afterwards? When he comes up from the splotch form, that part is really good, but right after that where he snaps back into form looks awkward. A little tweaking and this will be great!
