Sorry if it is too dark, I'm working on laptop so the screen is very deceptive. :( Hahaha, and sorry if it is reminscient of a certain Konami video game series, it's the first thing that came to mind and I just couldn't shake it.

I agree with gumdrop, oDD's pieces have great textural use to them. :)

I spent the majority of my time on a different piece that just ended up not working out, so I scrapped it and whipped up this one (I have alot more ideas, but just dont have the time). 9 for 9. looking forward to tomorrows... I wish the topic got posted early in the morning so I could think about it throughout the day.... but I guess working at the spur of the moment is good exercise as well... nice job again Odd.

Nice work everyone. This one started up kind of as a joke. But once I included satan :trouble: in a freak tent, I lost it myself. Consider it a color study gone bad. cheers.

Hi all-

Hope you don't mind a newbie to your forum popping in. I didn't finish this piece, but I wanted to post anyway -- it's something for me to work on later.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone - you've inspired me to "paint" again. It's been over 6 months since I truely worked on something in PS...

Wonderful stuff all!! Really amazing!

welcome pandora! inspiration is a great thing- I get it on a daily basis looking at some of the work on this website. So what part of PA are you from? I am just north of Balt. MD. Hope to see more of your work here on dsg.

Cool Portrait, illustre. Unfortunately, I'm that good at reflections. If you don't get any answer here, I would post it in the WIP section of the forum. Anyhow great job.

Hey ilustre, I took the liberty of overpainting your image to show my example. Keep in mind that I suck quite a bit at this and I know the reflections are a bit too bright for the mood of the picture too. Reflection are a bit of a pain, you have to think of the surroundings, like the tent. Try taking a cd and bend it, and look what happens (don't crack it), the more you bend it, the more things get "mashed" together. Now, my image is far from right (acually really bad, since the tent shouldn't bend to his angle), but knowing the physics really can help you.
