Looking for books

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend some books on anatomy and form that are friendly towards novice artists?

I know there are lots of free e-books but I'm hoping to see what others have benefited from or can recommend, I'm willing to pay for some books but I don't have a huge budget right now

I recommend "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist" by Stephen Rogers Peck. By far the best anatomy book I know. And it's about $20.
