Hi people,

Just a thread here to display my irritations of the day... I took my own laptop to work last week to aid in a last-minute render session, and had it connected to the network by an administrator. It all worked out perfectly, but when i got it home again it would not login to my own (previously used) profile again... In fact, it would not login at all. And the new (working) logon onto my employer's domain of course did not have administrator rights, so

I COULD NOT GET TO MY OWN WORK FILES!

Panic ensues.

Hereby i would like to officially thank my subconscious mind. After a bad night sleep i woke up this morning with a headache, but... remembering a 12 digit random number that i only used once a year ago to install the computer's system administrator password!

Victory. At last. Now i only need to convince the damn thing to look in my old My Documents folder...

E.
