they built their village on the side of the cliff. they got a bunch of ladders and walkways and holes in the wall :D. they collect water in some big tarp thing and a system of pipes. umm, they got crops down below.

why dont they build on top of the cliff? hmmmmm....

Legends claim that one day, It will awaken. (http://www.freewebs.com/drawings1/DSG249vlg.JPG)
Such legends arenīt particulary popular with the locals.

Very confusing topic. However I had an Idea which i liked.
I liked it so much that I decided to try something I havnīt really done before.
So I took my time with this, and had fun.

This is Cliff and he was needed by the village.

I think that most people missed the fact that Cliff was capitalized in the topic sentence which denotes a proper noun such as in a person, not a place. I'm just kidding.

Sorry this is late, I started it last night and then sorta went into a coma. I'd guess it was 2 hours not well spent :D

I can see why dsg is so cool though, can see the wide variety of ideas and working methods here. :) cool beans everybody!

Renone- when you type your message there should be a toolbar with some buttons above your message area, and one of the buttons is labelled "IMG". Just stick the url of your image in the dialogue box that magic appears~
edit: whoops, did not see your comment about having free webspace. Well, if it is geocities, you can always rename the file to a .txt extension and then post it. It will show up here, but because you don't usually get a lot of bandwidth with free web space, your pic might not show up sometimes...
I think this will work with some other webspaces also. Good luck! Even if you keep linking to a geocities page I will keep on looking. :)

Everyone really nice work, so many different styles.

DV8 - Despite you being frustrated with your piece, I think it's great. I really think you should continue to work on it. You already have a nice color palette established and what really rocks is the composition.

thanks for compliments, I really liked yours as well. I just wasnt "feeling" it. I will leave it on my desktop and wait and see what comes to me- maybe I will get inspired again if I look at it long enough. Thanks for the encouragement!

oDD thanks for the comment. I really like your stuff. I went to your website to check out more of it. I love the texture and mood that you do so well with your lighting. It looks like Painter but on your website I think you said that you use Photoshop? Cool, good job, that scarecrow was great too.

Good job everyone! Velo yours was really funny, it inspired me to think of another twist for my piece.

If anyone goes to my website, its really not up yet, I am rebuilding but there are two preview pages and a fun monster to play with, try to touch his head and belly.
