This project is a free to play web-based turn-based fantasy era single player role playing game with a player vs. player aspect through an arena system. We currently have a team of coders as well as four artists doing backgrounds, characters, and item graphics. The game is all still images since it's web based (and non-flash), so there's no animation/movement.

I'm looking for an artist (or two) that would be interested/able to draw some skill/ability icons for the 10 classes in the game. Each class has 20 skills, though some are shared between classes, and some icons could be reused or recolored to work for more than one class. The skill icons should be drawn at 64x64 pixels in size, and need to be smooth, non-pixelated.

You can see some examples of the style and some actual in-game images here: http://www.getdropbox.com/gallery/28903/1/WiR%20Examples?h=87e285

The game is based in a fantasy sword & shield era, so the skills are along the lines of what you would expect from this type of setting. Sword attacks, shield blocks, fireballs or life drain types of abilities are among the many various skills. Creativity is a must.

Some examples of the types of skill icons we're looking for can be seen here:

Since the game is a start-up project, and being designed as free-to-play, there isn't much of a budget for it. The biggest thing we are hoping to offer is exposure. With our previous sites bringing in over 5 million users, we have high expectations of our game. We're creating a 'behind the game' section that will showcase the art done by the different artists on the project and will act as a sort of gallery or portfolio.

Please contact me if this sounds like a project you would be interested in, and if it seems like one you would have time for. I know more details will be needed to have a full design idea, but I'm hoping this gives a brief idea.
