Love the affect on her outfit. It really looks shiny and slippery! The only thing, and I mean only thing, that bugs me is the tail right in front of us. It would be nice to see some more hair poking up. Right now it looks like that part was cut out and pasted on top of the image. Other than that this is purty sweeeeeeeeeet:)

the cat is indeed quite good.
the details on the costume are rendered well too.
however, i'd say that the flash-photography style lighting on the figure's flesh is not really flattering. Especially with a darker skin tone, the value shift really seems to indicate maybe photoreference or something, not that there's anything wrong with that. just seems that it would look better if it were lit differently.
cheers, good work, and thanks for sharing!

I frikkin' love this painting.
That cat is the coolest. And I really like the design of the woman's costume. The only thing I can comment on, though, is the anatomy of her head. It looks to me like her head is too far forward in relation to where the neck joins it. And it seems to me that her ear should be placed more toward the middle of her head. Finally, I think her nose is too small. That being the case, I absolutely love everything else :)

Ditto- That cat is amazing. I don't know yet if I love the mixing of the cartoony style on the outfit with the beautiful rendering on the fur though... to me it makes it look like parts are unfinished. (like the shoe) But it may just be a personal bias on style. The thing that bothers me about the face is that nose is too too tiny. If it's another stylistic choice, Ok...but I would find her so much lovelier without the extreme nose job. I also adore the graphic quality of the hair separating her from the cat.

Stunning work. You have captured the spirit of the tiger very well, and I also like how you made her suit all shiney and stuff.

Wow! fantastic! I would agree with some of the other crits. My only unique crit would be to squish her butt more into the surface shes sitting on. Right now she looks like she's floating somewhat. Great work!

There are some little problems (figure is a bit rigid, doesn't interact with surroundings, head is anatomically off), but I don't think that's going to stop anyone from loving this painting. Great sketchbook, too.

Cheers everybody for the constructive feedback. I just love the discourse in this community! I can see the crits on the hair but I have to say I am quite happy with the graphical, framelike quality of them. I definately agree to the need of reworking the face and the comic foot. I have to give it another session and will post the improvements.
Thanks again for the great comments.

I love the way the light shines through the cat's right ear. And i can agree with Elwell on the face, but still i think the illustration works this way. Any crit for now would be a matter of taste i think...

Damn! This is some high quality stuff, man!
Her nose is tiiiiny, though :/ Try and think about what it would look like facing straight forward.

i dont know, technically it is good
however the first thing that bothers me is the huge difference in styles when we compare the female figure and the cat in the background, they dont seem well connected and dont communicate well one to another
also some anatomical issues such as too long neck on the girl or her right hand
well thats my two cents I guess
the rest is pretty cools

Woah!
Great subject and composition! Im inspired to do one myself, big ass cats look badass.
Not too sure whats going on with the lighting though, the female looks like shes not in the same light as the cat. I spose its coz the cats in the back chilling out...sorta. Her costume is well designed also. Great work man

great job! i love the composition of the cat and the female. The costume was well rendered and I love the matching colors with the costume and the cat. The cat is amazing I love the fierceness that it portrays. This picture is awesome. What program did you use to make this? :]

very nice, the only thing that grabbed me as feeling off immediately was the rope (the extra that hangs from her hand), i would imagine it was intentional to have it hang so straight, but having such a vertical line with that kind of material seems wrong to me.
The main thing about it really is that my eye stops there, a perfectly vertical road block to my eye.
Great work though, very nice.
