great piece.... great job on the hands and the skin tones....the only thing I am wondering about is the lack of contrast....I assume its because you changed the resolution to post it on the web?

extremely well done. I like to soft rendered look, and the tone control... ahg* And thanks for the pros page.

thankx everybody.

i think the lack of contrast is just there because i kept it so muted; i should probably go back and mess with some levels. i've gotten some really good feedback in the past couple of days here and there, so even though its turned in and done i'll definatly go back and polish it for my portfolio.

:peace:

Pavlovich!

Excellent piece! The robe turned out quite well. Seems to be a little flat, even though the wrinkles are rendered perfectly. It may be because we're not seeing the forms of his shoulders, and arms, turn away from us...the folds go right up to the 'edge' of his silhoutte. Otherwise, excellent caricature and render.

Look forward to seeing more...Keep it up!!

The rendering on this is friggin' beautastic. I appreciate the process page... I'm having a hell of a time rendering right now, so it helped quite a bit.
