For the broken heart 1 I was thinking MAYBE a heart like this.

But in red and a broken down the middle splitting a little. Showing scars on the hearts, and maybe a small purple glow around the heart on a black ground. With a little extra detail maybe with some blood dripping from the heart for my book.
