why oh WHY!!! is hollywood rehashing such classics?! first they massacre texas chainsaw, now they dismember Dawn of the Dead... quite possibly the BEST zombie movie. i grew up watching these and now my childhood memories are tainted. check out the trailer. yeah...i went off about this in the "texas chainsaw massacre" thread in the lounge a week or two ago. dawn of the dead is probably my favorite zombie/horror flick. they did it to psycho, to chainsaw massacre, and now dawn of the dead...ten years from now they'll probably remake Evil Dead...or the Exorcist.
on a related note...where the hell is the next romero flick?! honestly...we need another "dead" movie. somebody give george a call and let him know.

but maybe this will get $ to put the Original dvd back in print.
im gonna start collecting moneys at supermarket entrances, to hire Raimi, Romero, Peter Jackson and some other dude to make a damn good zombie anthology film.
look at how fast those zombies move! thats just not natural.

I hope they remake Casablanca, cuz like black and white is sooo lame, slick it out...more urban feel.

yeah...there's a 2-disc day of the dead dvd out but i've yet to see a special edition of dawn...i'll be waiting here patiently for it's arrival...la la la lala ...is it out yet?
