First self portraits in a long time and first using a tablet. I think i actually did only like 3 up to this point...
First one is from today and the second one i did yesterday. The second one didn't turn out so good as to likeness...

Great stuff! Really like your digital painting style. I'd love to see you push how far you can go with this. I mean how photo realistic can you make it to push your own limits.

Didn't write it in here yet. Better save the praise ;) Because i picked the black/white values... So they're kinda cheated.

I've done this in black/white first to get the values right. Afterwards i just created a layer with "color" blending mode and experimented. In the following you can see the b/w layer plus the layer i put on top.

You mean, not only is it from a photo, it's also picked D: What's the point then? D:
Aaaanyways, look, my desk looks like this (http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o171/homeless_punkdrummer/Bild001-1.jpg), small mirrors like this one are pretty cheap and you get em anywhere :)

Yeah, well. more of a photostudy. Just to get proportions right... I'll get a mirror and do proper ones.

these are really nice. but i think you should move onto doing these from life, like algengflegr said. at least stop using a the colour picker for now. :P maybe try playing around with different angles of light, or facial expressions.
