Hi everybody I'm back!
I'm very sorry for the long absence...i never stopped working but i didn't have a computer nor a scanner for a pretty long time, so now i have to catch up with the updates!
Just to keep you updated, i used to study in fine arts but dropped it cause i wasn't very happy with it, so last year i started attending the Scuola di Comics in Reggio Emilia (italy)...and now I can say it was worth the change, I'm happy with the work my teachers are doing and I enjoing the course.
So here I am with a lot of stuff to post!
Here is my work from the beginning of the course,as usual any comments and crits are welcome!

Hi!
These are some of my first attempt with perspective and anatomy...
How hard it is to draw people walking! :\
I chose the last two panels from a comic(I can't remember which)and I copied the perspective scheme, then I tried to redo the scene by myself. I found it very hard and i realized how weak is my sense of space...I think i need to draw from life a lot more!

You are right. I need to keep at the old anatomy an also at every other kind of studies (perspective shading etc...)
I know I'm at the very beginning and the way toward improvement is so long!
But I think I will be able to persevere. :D
(about the cute mice i'll see what I can do...)

As i previously said, you improove so fast! The building studies looks gorgeous, so solid and pro. I dig the quick panel studies, seems that you have strong storyboard skills.

ICH : Thank you so much Ich, I'm touched! you know, I do have to improve fast, otherwise how can I hope to reach The Gnoll' skills? don't I?:P
Here we go with some figure studies!
Six comic pages are hopefully also coming when I will finally manage to fill the heviest SB page on CA! :nohope: (I'm sorry about that I would have made more posts with less images. It is hard to download all this stuff!)

I'm sure you'll leave me shocked one year from now ;-]
A little facetious competition between you and Ryan can give strong results, keep it up!
Your gestures looks really good. Seems that you feel more confort on rapid sketches and a little less when you have many time to spend.
Maybe can be useful deepen the anatomy study of the cleverage area, deltoids, trapezious and so. Just my two cents, anyway.
Taking the references from porn, great idea! I'm going to read up on ;-]

Long time has passed since the last post but...

Anyway, here are my first attempts at inking with brush and few other things.
This year at school we started to study inking, so after a couple of lessons I can see so many mistakes on my pages that I have hurried to post them before getting too unsatisfied to post them!!:nohope:

Hey there! Cool stuff in here, you don't update too often, but when you do, you're always better than before. Great improvement! Your figures look nice and solid, and your studies are only adding to their accuracy. I really like what I see, my only suggestion right now(since i haven't seen anything current) is work with your line weights to help make your forms pop more. things sometimes look a bit flat.
I'll be waiting for another update, keep it up!

Your comic panels have some wonderful dynamics in them, even the scribbly ones. Who needs to understand the language? I used to read a load of Chinese comics in the 60s, without understanding the language, but the skill of the artist was still able to convey the story. Keep it up.

When I'll make any pages where the story will be a little more interesting than a mere excuse to do some drawing exercise I will translate them in english! ;) Thank you for your kind words!
Lately I have been busy with the last assignment for this year exam: It is a 4 page retrofuturistic story writed by one of our teacher that we had to draw and ink.
Before that we had to make some study for the characters, the veicles and the environment.
Here are the male, female and robot studies but theese will not appear in my story because we exchanged ours with a random class mate and used his with our own style.

These are the two main vehicles (for the good and the bad character) and the studies I've done before choosing these two. Also these will change in the comic pages because for the story they need to fly and in my case I had to adapt them.

Love your work! The comic pages are done so nicely and I love how there is no dialogue at all. You get the emotion very well and you can tell what's going on. Great studies and linework as well. Keep it up! :)

Great steampunk car designs. Shame about the retro characters - their loss.

Oh wow! You work so hard, it's amazing! I really love the studies, they're amazingly inspiring. I also love the comics you did in pencil (not that the other one's aren't great, I just like pencil more than ink, it's softer :)). Keep up the great work!

I wish architects would make building like that. Cities would be so much more fun.

So I've been waiting for at least five whole minutes to see the finished pages. In the meantime I liked your enviroment study so much I colored it in photoshop. It's the first time I tried digitally coloring someone elses linework. Whad'ya think? Maybe I can try some pages sometime.

Awesome work Tizzy! It's really fun to see you and Ryan working on the same projects and how you two interpret the subject matter. My only problem is you two don't update enough, i need good drawings to sustain myself! Hope all is going well, looking forward to your next update, I'm sure you've been up to a lot since mid-july.

Looks like I don't have enought consistency with this sketchbook...every time AustenFm has to make me notice that I have disappeared for too long and only then I eventually return! (thank you Austen!)
Sorry! But now here I am and here are the pages I should have posted several months ago!
@Blankstate: Thank you so much for colouring something of mine!! I really appreciate that! And I like the result!
@AustenFM: Hey! Thank you! Yes all is going well and I've been up to a lot since July! The only problem is that I'm scared to write in english so sometimes I have the bad habit of escaping from my SB and I forget to update it for months!
But yes,at least I hope I haven't forgotten how to draw :)

These are the lay out and the 8 pages for a project against racism made with the township of Reggio Emilia.
The story was written by my schoolmate Jacopo Mommarelli and will come out this saturday with other short stories about the same theme.

No comments!!! sheesh you people have no taste.
Hey Tizzy! Those new pages are looking really good! That's a nice fisheye effect you did in the first four at top and I like the rocket toting robot guy. The half-tone in the lower pages look good too. Don't have much too crit but that's 'cause you seem to be getting even better at mastering those different perspective angles and mixing up your shots to keep things interesting. Keep at it!

Your comics are looking real good, clean lines and wonderful grasp on perspective! Looking forward to more!
Btw, do you use a lot of references or do you draw it all out of your head, for example the staircase scene in the second to last page?

Wow I love your stuff pretty good, one thing for the hands, draw also the palm with a
BOX and draw them bigger that forces you to keep the details with the box that will
make you understand the construction much better. I have loads of hand in my SB,
take a look. Very good sketch book you can help me too with other stuff, I just drew
hand like crazy.
