Any book that you guys recommend for photoshop and illustrator? it's been in my mind for a few years now that i want to create beautiful works of art and things like that on the computer just never got around to it.. kept forgetting. i'm gonna stick with it now! any books anyone recommends?

Photoshop CS3 for Dummies??? i don't know if it's any good though.

Hey Andrew,

A book I purchased recently which I found helpful was 'Bold Visions- the digital painting bible' it can be found on Amazon, pretty much covers all aspects of digital painting using Photoshop.

you might want to look into tutorial magasines and online tutorials too...never used a book for photoshop but I've learnt loads from magasines

Digital paintings.. Hmm.. Does it cover ..lets say 2d and 3d pictures as well? and the mag's.. dunno where to get those.. and the tutorial sites.. please list me some then ^^^

the dummies.. if you dont know about it.. i'm not gonna trust it :P

also.. what about 2-3d animation? like animes and stuff.
