Well i can't hope to compete with most people's daily sketchbooks here but i can contribute. I'm constantly inspired by the work that goes on in this part of the forum as it's my favourite.

Anyway, todays been busy so I haven't drawn much, but i've got a couple of quickies I did in photoshop. I think I have Prom on the brain tonight :)

What's interesting is that they are both drawn from the same angle and have the same expression ;).

damnit, you're on to me. the second one is just a PO of the first :D .

But yeah.... i tend to get locked in the same angles...

um.. . .i would recommend doing a lot of reference work. ive found that doing tons of it is probably the easiest way to learn and learn quickly. i ll have better advice when i see more work

I hear the logic in that, and i do do reference work. then again i also realise its hard to post constructive criticism based on 2 quick sketches. right, bed now.....ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

ok, i made a big mistake by starting this just before the house got a redecorated, as any spare time i had i was too tired to draw, but i'm back in flow now.
Anyway, i need to stop drawing disembodied heads and get some figures in there too. at the moment my anatomy is terrible :) .

You may be terrible at anatomy (I wouldn't know, there isn't much on display here) but you draw faces very very well. If you can, try to throw some full figures up on here, if for nothing more than the practice. Faces are (for me, anyway) the most fun and the most interesting part of the human form to draw, but it would be a waste if all these were relegated to stick figure bodies. Please keep updating, I'm really interested in what you've got going.:)

otherside-no it was reffed from a photo, i can't see the point in using comics for refs.

Pencilpunx- Yeah full figures is something i need to do way more of. i need to get my ass in gear :)

thanks for the comments

remember, it doesnt have to look good to be posted :) Sometimes showing mistakes helps us that are newbies learn what not to do.. I hope you understand. Some sketchbooks here are full of perfect work that should rather be under the 'itīs finished' section'.

btw.. I like your faces.

Yeah talmir, I really want to post everything I draw but to be honest I hate scanning so much that I could never get round to scanning everything.

Anyway, drew myself out of a slump yesterday so yay me!
been drawing lots of figures but almost all are in the bin, but I think i'm getting a bit better so heres a small update with a page that had some figures on it and some doodles from tonight.

She looks like she has plastic bewbs :(
