well i've had a lot of trouble coming up with ideas for characters so i decided to take old charcters from movies, books, games, shows, stories ect. and redo them.

i thought this could help me and other people becasue you already have a know charcter, all your doing is changing it to fit your needs.

a good examle of this is the game Alice. a badass remix of alice in wonderland, except everthing has an evil look and feel to it.

i redesigned wizard of oz, but i only have a face shot of dorothy as of yet (the rest are in my sketch books). i used a differnt stly then i usually do and i liked how it came out

You are aware that American McGee (the guy who made Alice)'s next game is entitled Oz, and is a dark spin on the Wizard of Oz?

Also, all I see is an x.

I can perfectly understand your thinking here, but I'd go for something other than Alice in Wonderland with an evil slant because it's been done a few times already.

The most recent one, as Bammer pointed out, by American McGee for McFarlane toys. (You can have a look at www.spawn.com if you're feeling curious).

The image itself is nice though! :)

when i saw your dorothy, i thought it was a male at first.
i think the strong jaw line makes it look like a guy in a dress.
plus if its evil, the colors are too friendly.
:D

ya i know Oz is coming out soon (cant wait for it) but i havent seen any concepts yet so i wanted to try the main char myself for fun. how should i make the jaw line less masculine? i didn't really notice that until you mentioned it...
