HSC Labs, Inc. is a new MMO game development studio located in the Las Vegas valley. Our first project, which is scheduled for a two-year development, is progressing well as we just finished the first stage of research. We are now beginning the second research stage and will soon be entering the full-development stage. Therefore, we are currently hiring on more staff to meet this demand.
No hard copy portfolios will be reviewed... include links to online portfolio content!
Preferred Portfolio Content:
• 'Medieval Fantasy' settings
• Buildings Structures (with and without color)*
• Character Designs (with and without color)*
• Prop Designs (with and without color)*
• Digital mood paintings full color (preferably in Photoshop)
*we are not looking for artist for only characters! Artist must be proficient in all artistic aspects.
Portfolio Expectations:
• Thumbnails
• Progression of ideas
• ¾ views of buildings/props
• Strong sense of design
• Strong sense of perspective
• Labeled ideas showing how things might work
Experience Preferences:
• Have worked for a game studio before
• Artwork was used in one professional game release
Requirements:
• Understands they are not the ‘god’ of artwork
• Are willing to always excel and improve their talent
• Are required to take two art tests. One will be timed
(tests are on your own time with no compensation)
