Evil sloth's was the most polished, but IMO was pretty roundabout way to hit the topic.

I liked the mood in Dr Pencil's, but cropped feet, no hands, and no face, I just felt that cecil caught the same mood but with more evidence about the concept.

Cecil's is still pretty unfinished, but he got the Shadow, the Owner (I like the "crown"), a fairly compelling mood, and I think if pulled together correctly could potentially be a really great piece.

PaperX:, that's a very, very interesting idea. but there is still so much vagueness/fuzziness it didn't quite do it for me.

Amaranth, wasn't quite satisfied by the "owner" part of the topic. Maybe if she was holding some animal, and a shadow was coming out of her mouth devouring it (a little goth in me coming out hehe) would tie in a bit better (and be bad-ass)

Kek and Rockett, VERY ambitious pieces from both of you. I would actually recommend for both of you to try out Google Sketchup (free) to really plan out your shot (like Evil Sloth did). You both seemed to get really hung up on the perspective, and using 3d in your workflow can solve that problem. It's preferable to work up the ability to sketch perspective on your own, because you understand it better, but using 3d is a great way to answer a production problem and allows you to get a much better design and scale (because you aren't worried about perspective as much), and it's much faster.

Vibhas, the face is very cool, and the sepia tone is very powerful, and the composition is nice as well, just too much pure black/grit for my tastes.

Omerta, cool character, but in such a sketchy stage it didn't do it for me.

Good luck to all!

My vote goes to Paper_X, because I thought it was a very clever idea.

Evil_Sloth's entry is obviously technically the most accomplished, however I don't understand what's the concept behind it.

@HunterKiller_ The explenation was in the Challenge Thread

Theres a guy with a mo-hawk hiding behind the statue on the left who beat up one of the girls so the owner is comming out to bust his ass up.

I had a tough time choosing between Evil_Sloth and paperX but I decided to vote for Evil_Sloth for making me go "HOLY SHIT" in the technical aspect of things. I do like paperX's concept a lot, however.
