Hello all,

I have a problem with my screen/photoshop.
I bought a new computer, with new screen. Installed photoshop cs3 properly, but when i start PS up, it gives me an error:
"The monitor profile "Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM" appears to be deffective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software.

Then i got 2 options:
Use anyway or ignore profile.

When i click on use anyway, my colors are displayed wrong, like, grayscale is displayed beige. White is too. Like when i create new file, my whole canvas is beige.

When i click on ignore profile, everything seems normal?

Doesn anyone know what this problem is, and even more important, how to fix it? I have a samsung 223BW with the drivers installed, graphic card is sapphire HD4850, with catalyst 8.7 installed.

Cheers, and thank on advance,

Surion

Uninstall the monitor software and just use as is, or calibrate through whatever software/hardware you see fit. The 'Natural Color Pro' profile samsung distributes is either broken or just crappy. Certainly only 'Natural Color' under the light of alien suns, if anywhere...

I had the same happen with my syncmaster 740N.

That indeed helped the problem.
Thanks for the help Snarfevs!
