Hello all
The first Spidey challenge was a lot of fun, so we decided to do another one :mittenbop:

Topic:
Spiderman and Felicia Hardy (the black cat). That's the topic, do whatever you want with it!

Anyone not familiar with Felicia Hardy, then check out her page at Marvel comics: http://www.marvel.com/universe/Black_Cat

Deadline:
1 week from now (Monday the 28th of July, midnight, local time in London)

Rules:
No nudity
No WIPs
All entries must be submitted before the deadline
B&W or full color, use any medium you like, any style you like as well
Beginners to industry pros, all levels are welcome, just remember to have fun!

Hey GetiX - try the official adobe forums http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bbf2764/ as well as the C.A. photoshop help section (if you've not already asked there) you should find some people to help fix ya PS CS3 :) unless you mean you broke the actual install dvd?

when you post a link when you reply to something how do you say what it is?? like what 7artist7 does he does this :stephy head::right:The 2nd Spidey Challenge!!:left::painting: how do you do that and make it a link??

To have it in a post, go into advanced post rather than quick post and type the text (http://www.lordart.co.uk/) you want to use as a link, select the text you want to use and then click on the insert link icon (little world with a chain link) and insert the link address and click ok - Done!

Or you can just write it like this: [ URL="http://www.lordart.co.uk/"]text you want to show as a link[/URL] Just don't have the space in between the first '[' and 'URL=' (I had to do that to make it show)

If you want to put it in your signature - go to 'User CP' and 'edit signature' then follow the same idea there. To add colour, style of text, size of text etc make sure you select only the text you want effected and not the '[URL=' etc before each time you click a choice. Sorry if I've been at all confusing - hope this helps!

I give up. I'm going to have to wait until my computer gets here. Unless I keep it simple like the Hulk drawing, inking on this laptop is a nightmare (shading + vectors = death). Combine that with a concept that sounded better in theory than execution, and you end up with the gigantic bucket of fail that is this piece.

I really like Spidey's pose here Bool, I think his brow ridge is slightly too pronounced, and his arms look a little big proportionately, but he looks awesome.

I actually like this a lot. It's much more dynamic than the last one. Nice composition as well (spidey in the Foreground angled to the left and Felicia in the BG angled to the right, with a bit of overlap thrown in).
I'll probably be doin a B&W one myself, had a lot of work this week and I don't think I'll have time to do any coloring >:|

Your signature is actually VERY inspirational. Every time I read it, I get a bit fired up and try to squeeze in an extra hour of drawing every day:rocker:

I actually worked on this one a little, I didn't do too much, and never really came up with a pose/scene that I liked. Anywho I put up some of my brainstorming in my sketchbook(see my sig for the link)

Hey Boolean - I actually like you're entry as the others say - very dynamic idea! Also I like the way you're coming up with interesting ideas and not afraid to try something! respect:yayca: keep it up and seriously the drawing isn't that bad - a few tweaks and it would be great :yum:
