Great work! I love the line work, although i dont feel the violet and lime green are working together at all.

noose-i didn't use any digital enhancements for this piece.

nardfrog-:D the green and violet combo is a bit garish? hehe...i see what you mean too. i'll try not to do that in the foreseeable future.

luke-if i was good in painter i would have used it, but i'm not really good at using that program.

i applaud your decision to use only traditional tools...computer programs are fine instruments, but they won't do anything without conventional skills to back them up. my only criticism of this forum is that i feel there is too much photshop/painter work done before people have developed their hard tools. anyway, that's a discussion for a different thread. i like this piece. i don't feel the violet and green are misused. they contrast each other nicely and give the piece an unearthly/back from the dead feel. i think it works because your character looks to have undergone years of abuse.
