A bit of a departure

So I've just started posting here, and since no one has seen any of my stuff they wont know that this way off of what I usually do. I'm trying to push myself farther and start working on some different subject matter from my usual monsters and little ghoulies. I'm also experimenting with limited palletes and trying to pay close attention to value.

i like it it has that caricature look of it and the colour scheme is great for spot colour printing. not sure about the text in the background , a subtle city background , just a simple city skyline would maybe better. as a outlandish character he cool , he just needs a world to fit in to i think to give him a solid feel. also some volume pops on the likes of the ball and shoes.
