Sweet work!! Mephisto really rocks. He looks better without the paint job though.

Cable I never thought he was that well a design to begin with, Nice job on it too, I would have to say that it lacks the dynamics that your Mephisto does there is so much more movement and life in him. The movement makes it more believable, and Cable just looks stiff.

WOOHOO!! I always look forward to updates on the Sculptor's Corner!! Great stuff. I won't cease sculpting 'til I can do stuff as good looking as that Mephisto. ( Well, I won't CEASE then...it's a figure of speech. ;) ) I'm inspired. Thanks for posting them Alterton.

That Mephisto is amazing. Did this sculptor also do a vampire that was featured in Spectrum a few years back? The styles look similar. Anyway, all of pieces are beautiful. Great job all around.

Whoha!!! Cool guys you ae enjoying this update. The Mephisto really rocks, unpainted, of course!!!
About the material, both, Andy Bergholtz and Rocco Tartamella, sculptors of Mephisto and Cable, use a special wax called Castilene, you can get more info at www.castilene.com.
Don't know Baron if it is the same sculptor.
Hey, but over all, I am more than glad the galleries inspire you, that is all about, and that was my idea when I got these monsters of the sculpture all together at once place!!!!!!

I just checked Spectrum 7. The sculpture I was thinking of was done by a guy named Greg Polutanovich. Not the same guy.

But anyway, I checked out your site and there is a wealth of information there in your forums and link pages! It's bookmarked as we speak.
