Three characters I hope to one day write a comic about. Here are some links to other art I've done of them. I've yet to really tackle these guys, I want their story to be perfect, as perfect as I can get it. And I've not been ready yet. But I'm getting there! =P

So far, i like Lyn Ivy, Cinnacat and Murgrubb. They seem fun and skilled. Rundle however seems a bit boring and the legs on him kind of bug me. His crotch seems really high/ armor seems out of context there.

Hope to see something about the comic soon.

Cool dude! :)
You might pop a saturated edge on your halftones, well ... where you would have a halftone at least. Maybe it's a stylistic choice but I'd tend to want to soften that up a little?

Thanks a million guys. Davi, it is supposed to be a sign, a running gag to show his current mood or thought. Maybe it's not that clever, I dunno. =P

Cookie, yeah, I didn't like how he looked in the picture, but I do like his clothes. He supposed to be the cold, serious, killer type, only, in cute cartoon form? I dunno. ^_^

Idiot, thanks man, I'm not sure what you mean by half tone, I don't know terms very well. Like the shadows? I cel shaded it to make it more cartoon looking, plus it is a lot faster than actually painting in the color. If I'm misunderstanding sorry. X_x

Thanks guys! ^_^

Kind of picky of me to say, but I think you could use some more action and emphasis in your poses. Check out this page from one of Preston Blair's books: http://www.animationarchive.org/pics/pbanimation07-big.jpg

Halftone is the blend in between light and shadow, it's usually in a very concentrated area depending upon the lightsource as well as the shape of the object. I found a good example by Dorian here at CA: http://www.stylestation.ch/discussion/uploads/rendering_001.jpg
These are the terms I use, but they vary a lot.
1. Full Light
2. Halftone
3. Core Shadow
4. (Probably Halftone of the reflected light)
5. Reflected light

It's definitely a stylistic choice if you were aiming for cel shaded, but don't hesitate to play around :)

I love the lines and color. Really like the main Character. Rundle reminds me of the original Usagi from TMNT.
