Need help drawing eyes

I normally just draw two dots for eyes. But in this illustration I tried to draw actual eyes. Can anyone give me advice.

I'd say you're doing a pretty damn good job. Maybe just don't have the eye lids overshoot the eyeball so much. Keep them tighter, against the eyeball more. And careful that they don't wrap around the ball tooooo far. At that angle they might not be disappearing around the eyeball quite so much. It still looks awesome thougn. Really really nice lines. Phuzion's right, but in this case I think what you've done fits well with the style. The highlights in the lower right (our right) of his eyes kinda seem off to me. It's no big deal though.

Love the eyebrows :D
