I really like the texture and style of your painting but i think the color choice for the face/hands is wrong. The green really pops out and looks garish.

i agree the green is clashing way to much. other wise nice concept. although im wondering about the end of the coat in the wind

well i dont think the green is that wrong.
it increases the impression that the man is somehow wrong in the place where is he is, it seems like he is ment to be brutal or cruel ( i definately played to much worldcraft. ), but doesnt want to be that way. he likes the flowery thingi in the upper left, but he knows that he never will be as beautiful as it is ..

I have to agree with bueda here, i think the green really fits the style and sadness of the painting.

I have gone trough some rough times the couple of months and i really love the expression, and about the green i think its just a brilliant color to pick for this painting, but maybe that's just me.

But the sad feelings i had in the last months came out trough this work.

I really like it.

In fact i put this green because of its symbolism : hope..
This is all about hope...to my view of course.

But anyway...matter of taste :)
