Hello everyone, I'm plaidskoogrl but you can call me plaid for short if you'd like. I've been drawing since I was young but only seriously got back into it recently. I'm currently attending a community college and getting my associates in fine arts. I took sculpture in high school but would really like to improve my drawing and painting skills as well. I'll post some artwork starting from around last year to more recent work from the end of my first semester in college. Let me know what you think, thanks guys!

These last two are from my figure drawing class portfolio, probably my two best pieces out of the class. It was probably the progress that I made in this class that made me realize going to college for art was the right decision to make. :]

I like the "weight" of the figure in the last image from your life-drawing class... you capture it well.

astroluc Thank you, that's exactly what my professor told me too. It's probably my favorite piece out of that class.

mysociallink2 Thanks, no it's not one I drew from real life. It was a picture I found online that I really liked.

So this was supposed to be in chronological order but I already messed that up. :[ The one on the left is a picture I drew in high school of a photo my dad took when he first landed in the Philippines. The second is a drawing of my sunglasses I did for my art 101 class portfolio.

Edit: Sorry for the gritty texture of the first picture....my camera back then wasn't so great.
