Hulk vs ??

This is a 1 week challenge. All you have to do is, create a picture of the hulk battling any super hero you want. If you really want to win then you will have to make your picture very dramatic. Eg... http://http://s3assets.nextnewnetworks.com/2370.jpg

News!! before the challenge begins anyone else think that it should be in rounds?? and btw the deadline for the pictures is 21st of july good luck!

a better explanation of 'rounds' would be cool but sounds good to me if it's what I think it is!
Edit: what I mean is how the rounds would work :) - i.e. would it be a knock out thing with one hulk drawing champion at the end? Also would each round have a different hulk topic?

I think I prefer just the standard "1 week, post what you've got" thing, but hey what do I know :P


Does anyone else find when drawing iconic super heroes you get really worried about drawing a pose that has already been done to death? I always end up drawing something then going "no, what if the most iconic hulk picture of all time is of that pose...it would look like I copied it...I better check on google images", only to keep going around in circles for hours :bashful:
Am I the only one who over thinks this, or do you guys just go “im drawing this pose because I want to, and dammit, I don’t care who else has done it before!”

I'm good either way but given the choice would also go with standard '1week, post what ya got' version

Boolean - totally know what you're talking about! - I was afraid of that with my Spidey pic for the first challenge - at the end of the day, so long as you like what you're drawing and havn't just done it because you've seen it done before you should be ok - try not to worry about it and just draw the hero in a pose you don't remember seeing but think would be cool and go for it!
Again, with my Spidey pic, I was going to have him crouching stuck to the side of a building but seriously, how many times has that been done before - boring!! So thought - hey when playing a Spidey PS2 game a while back I remember him being able to run up the side of buildings but don't remember seeing that drawn before (may have been done but not much at least) - so went with a really dynamic running pose!

I'm getting somewhat close to finishing mine. I'm currently coaxing this laptop, which as you probably know from last week isn't exactly fancy technology, to run Inkscape without crashing by feeding it any spare souls of the dammed I can scrounge up. Mines going to be fairly simple again as I'm not even going to risk coloring in Photoshop with this thing, so like last week it will more or less just be for fun :)

The good news is next week I get my new computer! 22 inches of LCD eye melting goodness!
