I think it doesnt exist, remember its sci-fi. I'd imagine it's a futuristic, cyber-genic cycle. Could be a motorcycle or bike I spose....Cool topic, way more complicated then it sounds :D

A very functional robot riding its master's cybercyle from point A to point B for no apparent reason...

Had a ton of fun letting the saturation get way out of hand.

Goran, Wow, the metal texture on yours is rendered beautifully!

goran: That's badass. Love the texture and colors, and the design is slick.

45 minutes in photoshop. Trying out using shape brushes to inspire design. No idea what I ended up with :-\

Originally his tubey hands were in the air ("whee!") but it looked like he was on a rollercoaster.

more dynamic than normal? I'm not sure yet. Still need more work. I may do some comic studies or something to help with the dynamic aspect.

nice ones here guys!

very tough one, that's 2 designs in one.
My favourite ones: (in no order)
-goran: awesome work. Nice textures and I love how the robot is mafde one with the bike!
-nightblue: I guess you like blue tones :D Very metallic and like goran its blending the two designs in one.
-prepsage: you know the drill prepsage lets bombs loose on this forum. Nice, nice work.
-CW: thats just hot my friend, really really cool. Love that layout you picked aswell, dynamic!
-psibug: I actually really love that, simple but so cool.
-parsakoira: no surprises in terms of design, but solid execution.
-hamsta: that looks like a midnight race, again not enough definition to be a design, but nice mood.

Other: (in no order)
-gorgoleon: I love that energy but is that a picture of a canvas? It looks a bit blurred and is hard to make out.
-razorleaf: Its funny how you drew a very porganic alien and then just applied a plate motif on to make it robotic :D
- sudsy: I love the lil robot and the seat/back of the bike, the forn doesnt work out that well
-commanderswiss: I love the tone of the pic, but I cant amke out what it is :D
-bombchu: lol, yeah very quick. looks like masterchief from halo.

As for my own, I just did some doodles at work and quickly colored one idea. Cant say I'm proud of it, but its fun to have to work that quick.

Hamorhage The design of the bike bothers me, in that it has no defined front end - no handlebars, windshield, mirrors, or anything of the sort.
A robot may not need such things, but I do ;)
Speaking of robots, it's hard to tell where the rider ends and the bike begins.

You should also pay greater attention to where you use soft and textured brushes.

Keep giving it to me hamsta :) I admit I didn't think the boke through at all and just painted some shape on the bike that I then transformed into some android.
I have lots to learn about digital painting too. I'll have to venture more into the world of customized brushes and figuring out ways how to make things look good, fast. Thanks for your advice hamsta.
