Interesting juxtaposition of hard and soft surfaces (the hard skeletal upper vs. softer fleshy lower jaw).

In this case though, I'm not sure the bottom jaw is working with the rest of the design as is. It kind if lessens the deadly look of the creature -- I keep thinking of a toothless old man.

Also, is there an eye in the socket? Some of the lighter lines made me think I could see his jawline though the socket, which I thought was pretty cool conceptually. A happy accident?

Keep it up, I really enjoyed that undead-humanoid creature on the other forum. And before I forget, congrats on getting hired!

Wynd, i kind of see what you are saying, but to me the eye is clearly defined. It doesn't have a humanoid pupil, it's more of a lizards. and the 'jaw line' is actually right under the eye to the right of the image. The other 'line' you are refering to is just some odd skin structure i was playing with. I can see what you mean though, it does look like a bone and is confusing.

I agree with wynd. Maybe its because that eye socket in the skull couldn´t have and eyeball of that size. It doesn´t look like the eye is spherical.
Maybe you just don´t want it to be spherical...
I don´t know if you get my point....

anyway i love this over sized imp. the way you have gone a bout it is very nice and it has taht slithering personality to it. it like a creature that plays with your mind in its current pose the bites it out to finish the job
