Mmm... nice work. I don't like the text you're using but the drawings are very cool..
Maybe you should try one full size without the text or a full color version?

Personally, i dislike manga styled art work.
It looks like all of your faces were copied from different material. I also think signing your work as dj dooms day doesn't come off serious at all. It may not be your thing to be serious, but if you look at any professional on this forum, they sign their work by their own name.
I also have to agree that writing text like you do on your images doesn't help. Writing in normal print doesn't take away from the drawings, but crazy large letters in weird styles does.
If you are serious about art you should try doing anatomy studies and what not.

you've got a great will for detail. but first i think it would help to spend some more time with anatomy, balancing weight, etc. then, go in and bash out all those great details. keep hackin away at it.

I like them but the first one is to dark in the face it doesn't show all the detail.

Exactly mr big pimpin Admin. ;) I dislike these manga influenced artwork asswell. but hey. kids around that age are very influenced with DBZ, anime, comics and games. It is more about: hey lookie, I can draw vegeta and all his classmates praize him then being serious in drawing.
My biggest advice is to TRY and create something without the anime style, without the heavy DBZ and comic influences. try to draw something you dont like to draw. It will really increase your skill.
goodluck kid, you have alot to learn

just thought i'd offer word of encouragement...my stuff looked alot like this when i was 16 (except it was more marvel-comic influenced than anime/manga) and i'm reasonably happy with my progress over the last 8 years, (though i know i'd be muchbetter if i made a point to draw at least 3 hours a day). anyway, keep hackin away at it...draw from life, draw from anatomy books, draw a pig...whatever...just focus on drawing what you see instead of whats in your head or on tv...i promise it will help you. keep goin.

It may not be your thing to be serious, but if you look at any professional on this forum, they sign their work by their own name. None of that art was copyed apart from the 'Baby Vegeta' pic, which is actuly a splitting image of him. Also i dont sign my pics with 'Dj Dooms Day', those two pics of him there are a character i made up to go along with my tag. :D I sign all my pics with 'GLYN' which is my name.
