I just completed this book interior illustration and decided to put it up here.

While poking around this thread, I noticed that there weren't many pen and ink artists posting. Hopefully, my work won't seem too out of place (I was a bit hesitant about posting).

This piece is done completely in ink using rapidograph pens. The original size was 8 1/2 x 11, although it will be shrunk down to about 6 x 9.

Another interior illustration, this one for a magazine. I tried to make the angle more dramatic on this piece. I also went of a more EC comics-style ink job this time around.

The second piece is much more successful than the first. You need to work on your linework actually describing the form more, though. And really work out your drawing problems so that you're sure of exactly whats going on before you get into the rendering. Are you familiar with Virgil Finlay (http://www.bpib.com/illustrat/finlay.htm)?
