every semester, AAC puts together this thing where they set up little "stages" with props and such, and the models dress to the theme, like today it was wizard of oz, and the circus.. it goes for 6 hours.. this is what i was able to get out of it.. (i wasnt there the whole time.. a bit more than half)

That's really neat, MainLoop! I especially like the scarecrow, the expression on his face seems very fitting.

There's some great life to these! Beautiful! The first couple have some problems with the shoulders, but you seem to overcome it in the rest. Check out some of Glen Vilppu sketches, you'll find a new love for your pen!

thanks.. yeah ive checked out the glen villpu stuff before.. the library has his book.. he is a great one to study.. i still gotta work out the kinks in proportions and all that (and i shoulda exagerated the horsey guy's caricaturization) but that'll come with more concentration and pencil mileage.. im in it for the long haul, hope you are too

I really like the top gesture that looks like it was done in black marker alot. very fluid. And really like the lion, (it was a lion in wiz.of oz, isn't it?) The top portion with his head down and the silouhettes of his hands are really cool
