Captain Jones just updated his Spacecaft to model parasite-67.
Image created in Photoshop, what do I need to fix?
Any tips on how to create a more reflective surface?

Generally on a reflective surface, you'll see a lot sharper division between highlight, midtone and shadow. Also, you'll see, well... reflections on it. Reflect some of the light from those green dealies on the sides to the adjacent brown part. And some of that blue light on the bottom looks like it would probably illuminate the darkness in that area of the ship.

As to the integrity of the design, I can make out a couple guns and some things that look like they might be engine thingies, but I can't for the life of me figure out which part does what. Things are sticking out in all directions, and it doesn't appear to be as cohesive as it should be. I can't tell which way is the front, where the pilot would sit, or even how big it's supposed to be. Is it a personal spacecraft? Is it one of those big city types? Maybe try adding more detail or changing the orientation of things a bit to make it clearer.

On the up side, it looks well drawn and I like your colour choice.

umm ... what is the front and what is the back? and i'm assuming its a personal space craft because in comparison to the cockpit forms ... those are some HUGE ass guns to be anything more. and i still can't figure out where the front is.
also it looks really really flawed design wise. the top thing looks like a very weak point in the design in the ship. very unprotected. and the thruster looking thing in the front/back of the ship at the bottom looks very out of place.

hope you don't mind, but this looks a little more concievable and less structurally ... disasterous. i also wouldn't use a gradient the same tone and value as the majority of the ship, it makes it hard for the viewer to distinguish shapes. either that or use reflective light.

Freud would have a field-day if he knew that my first impression when I saw this image was of an android with 3 breasts.

Aside from that, I agree with the other comments.
