Just sketched this one out. Yeti's western cousin, a teenaged Sasquatch...

Here's a sort of 'comic booky' style Yeti/humanoid hybrid that I did years ago...

I thought that I would just focus on the sketch for today's dsg. Maybe I'll color it later. If anyone else feels like coloring it, go for it, I don't care, it might be a little too small for that though. Anyways! Maybe I'll do it later.

Let's get some commentary going...everyone loves comments.
DV8- it looks good, it looks like Bluto from the Labyrinth movie
Mad Giraffe- Nice quick piece, I would recomment doing your line work and shading across the form instead of with the form
yeticatcher-I've always loved your avatar, nice work, I checked out your site! Looks nice too, I was a little confused on where to find the actual pieces at first, but I found that link at the screen bottom, nice work.
Digitol-nice work too, I also checked out your site, very interesting setup. I liked your demo reel.
Roger-fui a tu website tambien, me parece muy bien. Me gustaron tus dibujos de vida, las chicas y cosas. Bien hecho.

Quick one, not much creature design in this. I hope to make another one later.
But...look It´s Bigfoot! (http://www.freewebs.com/drawings1/DSG239bf.JPG)

dDesign: Attatchments don´t work. You
need a host, to link from there to here, by using the http:// or the IMG button. (Preferebly IMG if your host allows it.)
Nice site btw.

Hey, What u should, we post comments about our own drawings too? Dificultes, what you think is wrong with the image?

One hour image:

http://www.camilocunha.blogger.com.br/peGrande.jpg

Well in this image I failed to get the teeth. I think my yeti face is like a fool.

I really like the drawings!
Roger, wether is cold, huh? I think you get the feeling.
The same coment is valid to Digitol, maybe more work on a accurate face.
Rockhead, nice comic style, maybe you shoud insert more acting pose to the character get more furious!
Yeticather - Jonh Buscema influences, huh? Nice!

William! That's GROSS! Something about it really freaks me out. That's no cuddly big foot, I'd hate to meet him in the woods. What's there of the background is cuddly, though. Reminds me very much of a Christmas card. :)

DV8, that's pretty much how I've always thought of big foot. He's just minding his own business and isn't terribly concerned that anyone is around.

Ilustre - your bigfoot has human looking eyes, almost like he's a guy who was cursed by gypsies to be a beast or some such thing.

Digitol, I like the color scheme. He looks alot like an ape, partially because of the colors I guess.

Ayato, very funny! I always enjoy your DSG postings. Didn't you say you were going to stop? I'm glad you're still posting.

I've missed yesterday's DSG, think I will go work on this one right now.

Thanks, Velo! That was Yiako who said he would stop, he also used to often post humorous takes. I miss him too.

Glad you are back, William! Your guy looks sooo creepy, but the background is sooo cute! :)

I think Yeti are known for being in the snow, but er... when I saw a documentary on Bigfoot it was woodsy, so that is how I've thought of it.

~20 minutes with pencil, contrast increased in PS

yeticatcher - Great profile -- Really like it! That old one's got a real Burne Hogarth thing goin' on úüø

Rockhead - Look's like he's pinching a loaf, Ha Ha! :D

Digitol - Great piece! Love those curious blobs of colour to the right of the pic, the the snow blowing against his back... Great look!

ilustre - Nice! Glad you included yer refs.

Faxtar - Great Kong-like face/ furry texture/ and dynamic pose! More anatomy study will probably benefit you, but there's a boldness to this that's excellent... and the positive/negative shapes are interesting ones!

Velo - Awesome sketch! Real nice flowing line quality, and that expression is great... What a dour and damning understanding he seems to have of us... There is history in his eyes.

Again, thanks to everybuddy for such kind words!:chug: As for a website... I've been working on it. I think I finally have hosting finances figured out, and someone to help me with the site construction, but I still have to come up with graphics for the buttons and such (a task I am dreading). So, maybe it'll all be done in a few weeks? I'll make a real obvious link on my signature when it all comes together :) Ha ha.
