Hi there.

Damsel in distress here. Can you help.

I have a pencil line drawing (quite sketchy) and need to import onto new layer (which i can do) but i need to delete the background (white) from the sketchy drawing. I've tried magic wanding but there's too much line to contend with. Does anybody have any ideas how i can do this as my head is about to burst!!!

Many thanks
loodles

Copy your original pencil layer as a new top layer, on top of a layer containing whatever you want to put behind it. Set the compositing mode in the new top layer to "multiply" rather than "normal". :)
