OMFG!!! TMNT!!!
TMNT is what got me drawing comic books in the first place.
I met Kevin Eastman one time at a con here in dallas. He was drinking corona or something and signing stuff, we had the table right across from him.
It was funny, my freinds were like look it's Kevin Eastman, and the fan boy in me just came out. So I walked over to him and stare. "You're Kevin Eastman?" "Yeah" "One of the guys who invetnted the teenage mutant ninja turtles?" "Yeah" "I got into drawing comics because of you." "I'm sorry." We laughed he shook my hand, and invited me to a screening of Heavy Metal 2000. He drew me one of my characters too. It was cool.
Anyway, sorry, he looks just like he did in the cartoon... actually he looks alot like the toy. Are you drawing from toy referance?

Thanks guys. Yes, I did have the toy handy for reference or I'm sure I would've left out some important details. As far as inking goes, I'm working in Illustrator 10. I very rarely ink on real paper any more.

::sigh:: Well, I wasn't paying attention and put the weapon in his Left hand, but he's Right handed. Also, his Left leg is seriosuly flawed and I just can't seem to get it right. Because of his stance, I don't think it'll work to just switch weapons considering his Right arm is pulled back like the way he'd hold a shield. I'm considering making him hold a chain with both hands, but don't know if I'll be able to pull it off. Anyway, here's more progress. I'm very open to suggestions.

If the left/right handed thing bothers you, try to mirror the image.
Nice quality of lines!

hey nice job!
i would DEFINITELY go with a chain that hes mainly holding in his right hand, then comes and wraps around his left wrist and into his left hand a bit
im not really feelin the gun and trash can cover shield
good solid lines here, i know many people who ink in illustrator, but havent really used illustrator to ink, how are you getting the various line weights and falloffs - this is simply how illustrator renders its lines, correct?
i grew up with the show, loved it as a kid
but, you've opened up a can of worms my friend
im sure you know who you have to do next, right?
ROCKSTEADY!! ;)

i think this is what K-10 meant by the sunglasses being flat...hope you don't mind me reworking it...and its not perfect...i don't know exactly how long the sunglass arms are...hope this helps.
