I'm sure if we go to selfridges (http://www.selfridges.com) there are a lot of self centered models just waiting to be drawn.

Here's a great reference for airline uniform designs throughout the years.
http://www.uniformfreak.com/
on an unrelated note, i find the "worst airlines i ever dealt with" page a particularly hillarious smear

I love this site, photos of people off the street in Finland. They have blurbs too of where the inspiration for their style came from.

I saw the 'quote' from the guy in the middle of your set...hiliarious: "My style is 50's teddy boy. I haven't changed my style since 1965. ..."
I bet he's fun at the bars.
great links, I'd been needing some resources as my fashion skills for characters is horrible (probably because i've no personal interest in fashion...cheaper and plain..is that a fashion? O.o''' )

It calls itself the online home of Vogue, but I think it's a pretty good source for designs. http://www.style.com I found it when someone in the past linked to a past fashion show, so I'd suggest checking out the fashion show sections.

this is an excellent resource for keeping up with what all of the fashion pro's are doing. There are incredible amounts if photos of contemporary fashion design here:
http://men.style.com/
specifically here. if you browse by designer and look at their complete collections, that's where the money is. you can also look back through most designer's histories for at least 8 years or so:
http://men.style.com/fashion/collections/S2009MEN/runwayshows
The same goes for women's fashion:
http://www.style.com/
again, the really good stuff is here, sort by designer:

men and womens clothing: facehunter (http://facehunter.blogspot.com/)
pretty good resource, street shots with lots of quirky people
women's clothing/portraiture: garance dore (http://www.garancedore.fr/)
ignore the bad fashion illustrations. there are lots of beautifully dressed women on the site, and lots of really interesting faces
men and women's clothing: the sartorialist (http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/)
the one and only - he's got an eye for very classy dressers, as opposed to the quirky/hipster dressers of facehunter. AND his photos are great.

if you see this on the newstand, definitely have a look. Hardly any advertisements, just page after page after page of full-figure, cutting-edge designs. sometimes the designs suffer a little from poor background color choice, but yeah, all in all, a tremendously valuable resource. some of it is quite humorous too.

and yeah, it's pricey at nearly $40 usd after tax. but worth it... nice nice reference.

^You can collect most of those pics off blogs, but it's a nice quick style bible.
I check hot or not on vicemag, it's NSFW and it's really immature, but you have to take it with a grain of salt.

Hmm. I'm not sure, if I'm still allowed to post here, since it's still the topic from a year ago, but anyways, it's still in the sticky, and i have something to show..

Hey guys, if you ever need some professional inspiration you can always count on fashion editorials from the most rad magazines out there, I usually purchase little none at all because they're just soooo expensive in my country , BUT you can always count on the biggest fashion forum in the world (or at least the most important)
http://forums.thefashionspot.com/
in the magazines sections there are thousand of scans ,and trust me, you can find anything from steampunk-related (there's a thread there somewhere) to like the craziest outfits out there, and the most futuristic and avant-garde ...everything is up to date and if you want to become a member, just PM me and I'll send you an invitation :)
I also recommend the street style threads there and the men's ones :)
have fun searching through their data base and hope that helps :yayca:
PS: @lingeries name haha you're not the only one out there trust me I usually end up shopping if depressed and I too have a black and white (and grey) wardrobe...everytime I wear colors I feel like a rainbow ..but I'm trying to change that :)
PSS: that's the most amazing compliment ever :D

It's pretty much a blog about one guy (I think I don't really follow it, just found the link and thought people might like it) and his friends with different outfits and they link their inspirations etc.
I think the style is kind of goth (No idea I don't really know much about goth/punk sort of things)
Hope someone finds it helpful because there's some pretty neat costumes for your characters in there :P
