Alright "tiny"! I was wondering when you were gonna put your stuff up. Great stuff! I like the thread idea. So here's one of mine. A Frazetta I spent only about 8 or 9 hours on. I'm working on a Rockwell I've put about 6 hours into so far and still have 20+ to go.

these are really good.. i really like the leyendecker, seeing as how its currently one of my favorite paintings..

thanks main loop, that study was particularly tedious, but i learned alot about shapes, and my dexterity with a brush got better.

did you use leyendeckers own technique for it?

ah... we looked at his work last week in history of illustration.. he had a definite method of working.. he had his own medium he concocted out of turp/lnseed/standoil.. i dont recall all the details out of my head though

I've just posted this elsewhere but I'll add it here as well. :)

Copy of a drawing by Raffaello Sanzio called "Il banchetto di nozze di Psiche" (book it's from is in Italian). In the original drawing, all 3 figures are shaded but I just did the one.

~2 hours in charcoal, the copy is 18x24
