What's Sculpey Glaze?

I was going to go out today to get some Super Sculpey and try experimenting with it for the first time, and I remember hearing people say that you can paint it with a special Sculpey glaze. But is this glaze an actual colored glaze you can paint it with or is it just a glossy coat that keeps it the original color? If it's just a coat, is it possible to put it over acrylic paints or would it need to go back in the oven?

Add a durable seal or finish to baked polymer clay items with these compatible acrylic water-based finishes. Apply thin washes with a small brush. Thin glazes with water if desired.
