This is just a quick experiment that I wanted to do with strokes and vibrant color. I've placed it in the Speed Painting thread, but thought I would put it here too. :)

hmm is it just this computer or is it really blurry? i cant comment on the strokes cuz i cant distinguish em that well... as far as vibrant color, you sure picked a difficult mood for it.. you did a pretty good job, only thing id suggest is not to make the reflected ligh (or is it second lighting?) as bright as the other.. always have a subordinate and dominant source of light...

Main Loop i believe you are correct, its really blurry.... and im not sure if its just how it is or just a bad compression on the jpeg.
But anyways.. Neble its nice to see you trying these quick little experiments. And the piece is fairly successful. As for my crit... I can tell that you wanted that foreground object to "pop" and separate from the BG to add some depth. But the brush strokes, detail, and value are too close to the ones you laid down in the BG. So what happens is the piece ends up looking flat, although i can still tell what you were trying to accomplish.
Also the general graphic shapes you have established arent very strong, meaning...... when i squint my eyes, i cant separate one element from another, and everything disappears. You also have a tangency issue with the 2nd rock formation from the left of the composition that ends up leading the eye straight off the page.
Some suggestions would be to add some more color depth into the piece to help separate the foreground from the background. such as a typical warm\cool color scheme. another thing either add more detail to the foreground object or diminish the bg objects detail further. Anyways if this comes off as harsh it isnt my intention. Take from it what you will, i could be wrong, theses arent the only solutions. its just how i would have handled these issues.
So just keep on painting and keep on posting. its all about wacom miles my friend :D .
