Hello All!

This is the new VOTING thread for the SPACESHIP SUPER STYLISED CHALLENGE, which has been created for your final entries.

IMPORTANT: Now has come the time for the following artists to post their fantastic final images in this thread.

800 or 1024 sized images are fine for this stage (but high-res versions are good for 2DArtist magazine!)

Please post all entries in this thread before 8th July 2008 10:30AM GMT.
Only entries posted in the SUPER Stylised Challenge - June 2008 - Spaceship! - VOTING' thread before this date will be eligible for Voting!

Voting will then start immediately afterwards and will run until 15th July2008 10:30AM GMT.

We will post to commence the Voting on the 8th July. Voting will be the same as last month, with each voter putting forward their top 3 entries, in order: 3pts for a 1st place, 2pts for 2nd, and 1pt for 3rd. This means that we will all have to choose very carefully!

Please feel free to give reasons for your selection, as it will be good feedback for everyone!

1: Wargrafix, the focus is on the beautiful spaceship, maybe its a bit too shiny and the lighting shows some inconsistency here and there. Also the planet on the right is egg-shaped! But overall its a great picture.
2: Nadiamoon, lovely drawing, great storytelling, would be perfect in a childrensbook.
3: Shatteredfx, best drawing, if the topic was called Rabbits it would be my nr. 1.

Paweu, very nice design, maybe it could use some more detailing.
Brather, yours is telling a great story, the clouds are superb.

Wargrafix 3: Great use of colour and shade...almost 'Giger'esque

1- Touvni - great sense of depth, nice lighting and contrast on subject vs. background

2. Paweu - I like the nostalgic train idea!

3. Trashy - loved those wet smudgy acrylic strokes..

brather - I like the wood grain texture.. ( i.m.o. maybe if you kept a little bit of it on the main subject will look better )..nice idea though..

tommoy - hey man, you should have thrown some dark background in there so it will not look half baked ( could have been my favorite! )..

2nd - gnahz - very funny, great idea and a lot of emotion.

3rd - shatteredfx - great rendering, I love the brushstrokes, colors and lighting.

1-shatteredfx-beautifully illustrated piece and those rabbits are great. Love the whole piece and nice work again!
2-Nadiamoon-Very cool choice of colors and neat little characters. Quite a unique little piece.
3-wargrafix-You got a good alien ship vibe to your piece. Good going on those colors as well.

1. brather - liked watching the development of this piece. It tells a story, which is always a big tick in my book

2. wargrafix - nice lighting on the craft. The colours used made it really pop compared to the others.
