Hello !!

I've just added a lot of stuff on my website (I was looking at some old works and realize that I even forgot some of them). Some recent ones I've already posted here and a lot of oldies I've done for RPG books and videogames.

Here are some of the most interesting:
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Vermine/Aleksi_Vermine_Motarde.411_742.jpg http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Vermine/Aleksi_Vermine_lames.425_691.jpg
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Vermine/Aleksi_Vermine_Chasseur02.499_757.jpg http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Vermine/Aleksi_Vermine_Guide.442_671.jpg
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Vermine/Aleksi_Vermine_metro.672_481.jpg

Some video games concept art. Sceneries for a contemporary esoteric licence project :
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Videogames/Nephilim_Knight_of_Apocalypse/Aleksi_Nephilim_Biblio02g2.668_472
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Videogames/Nephilim_Knight_of_Apocalypse/Aleksi_Nephilim_Crypte_vue-g.668_472
That's how i'm working with the Modelers and Mappers (for this game, it was friends so the human relations were very cool). I compile the most of reference's pictures I can (For the mood, the colors, the textures, the feeling, some details and objects that are useless to draw...) I sort them, give the CDs to the modelers with reference's plate like this one :
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Videogames/Nephilim_Knight_of_Apocalypse/Aleksi_Nephilim_Biblio02r2.668_472
It was funny, because at the end, when the 3D models were made and mapped, the team laughs at me because we could believe that I draw the Concept arts before because it was quite exactly the same thing :) (I'm looking for some screenshots)

And the last ones ( i can't post all my website in this thread :)), for still another different videogame project :

nice concepts.
i really like those architectural pieces, the colors are quite vibrant, gives it a nice feel. I think you also did a great job on the inking, good detail. But i think that your characters may lack some expression in their faces. Apart from that bo crits, just praise :D

The toned drawings are cool, they have a nice action feel to them even though the characters are standing still, they feel dirty and warlike.

The mochrome pics were made for a RPG called "Vermine" (Vermin) (copyright Humanoides associés)

Wow, just wow! I love how you combined the stylized swirls into the designs for Olympian. I just love that shape and the ways you incorporated it are wonderful!

Thank you !

In fact, all these pieces are oldies, I've done them more than one year or two ago (At this time, I didn't know what a CGI speedpainting was and the existence of Conceptart :) )
I'm sure I wouldn't work the same way if I had to do the same stuff today, especially for the videogame's sceneries. I just remember that I really liked this project, I've written pages and pages of thoughts about it.
This was a RPG book licence that I've already illustrated with some characters like this :

http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Nephilim/Aleksi_Neph_Dai-Fu.358_591.jpg
http://www.aneyeoni.com/ART/Illustrations/Nephilim/Aleksi_Neph_LucyWestenra.416_600.jpg
And I've also worked on the comic-book project twice but it failed for some others reasons.

For the more Greco-Roman arts, i was working at this time with a very talented artist who worked on Tarzan (Disney) and learned a lot of thing about cleaning designs and animation.
The client asked something very accessible, so that's why we've choosen this cartoony style. I remember that they were upset because of the color skin of my Cyclop, telling me that it's not possible that a Cyclop would be violet (???...)

The monochrome work is some of the best I've seen of that genre. And the pink Cyclopes rocks!!! The COPs stuff on your site remind me somewhat in subject matter of Liberatore's work.

This deserves to stay at the top. I went to your site and didn't see much there... Maybe I was looking in the wrong place, but you might wanna make it more obvious how to get to your galleries. I'm not operating at full capacity today, though... so maybe it's just me.

Happy to see someone so deserving getting such great gigs!

Simply phenomenal Aleksi!

(and I disagree with the person who said you didn't have much expression in the faces of your characters. I think there's a lot of expression there)
