As soon as I think of something to say here, I'll change this post. But for the time being, I'll be uploading various sketches, wips, and all that good stuff. I certainly would love to hear what you have to say about my work, and I'll gladly return the favor if you stop in to share your thoughts!

Wow, this is awsome! That face is well done and your water colors was it? Well they were great too, LOL I hope to see more from you. Any advice for a growing artist?

I love your pencil drawings, and your water colors are awesome, very simple lines (ink?) but very expressive. It looks like you have an interesting style. I can't really offer any crits, but I'd love to see more of your stuff.

somebody knows their way around watercolor~ ;D
I suggest studying the face structure and where features are positioned on them. they'll help lots. :]

Loving the watercolors just wandering if you have any tips for them, just can't seem to get the same color palette you have?
Thanks mate :)

@a la bapsi: Yes, that's really a big problem I have, really. I could really benefit from focusing on that area, I think. Thanks. :]
@Bagg: Me and watercolors have a very interesting relationship, and even I'm not sure how I use them at times (not the best way to use a medium.) What I've used for the pictures above is a compact Winsor and Newton set, along with this really cool watercolor pen that has a reservoir in the handle, so you can watercolor on the go.The only real 'tip' I can give is that a little goes a long way. I generally tend to be very light with the colors, and spread them out using the water. Hope that helps somehow!
(And my apologies for not really having any more sketches to attach this post, but I really didn't get a whole lot done today.)

I think I'm going to get a tattoo similar to this, but I want to try out a few different animal's skulls to see what would fit best. This one here is a cow's skull.

Messing around with Alchemy.
Gonna try to to see what all I can do with these ideas. :]

I like the octopus tentacles and the skull, that's really cool. Human skull, or maybe some kind of ape, might be really cool too!

Thanks samurai, but I was kinda going for a more feral, even primal, feel for the over all design. I had tried out a human skull with it before, but it just really wasn't doing it for me, so now I'm looking through the animal kingdom. :]
Here's just another experiment with the coloring.
Also, I might be getting a new tablet (Intuos3!) very soon, so I'll be doing much more work in Photoshop, and possibly giving painter another try.

Thanks, JailHouseRock! Always good to hear some feedback.
Yeah, I've actually used ArtRage 2 before, but my computer is a bit on the bleh side, so it doesn't run as well as it should. Thanks for the suggestion though. :]

Nice sketches, I love those lines in your watercolored pieces. The torsos of your people look a bit small, might want to pick up some anatomy books and make some studies. Keep it up! I like you style!

Little doodle.
Started off as a thumbnail sketch that I had in my sketchbook, but kinda expanded upon it to get to here.

ffff. Anyone know how to get good scans with watercolors? Or do I just need to keep to taking pictures?

Yeah, I totally need to be post here more often. Scanner is still ass though, so I'm looking into getting a replacement that will actually show effort spent. :I

I really like your style. If I had to say anything critique-esque it would be that I would like to see a wider value range -- especially darker values -- in your work...but your style is charming and lovely, with great lines and an excellent sense of proportion.

Your stuff is nice ! I'd recommend putting the waterbrush down when you're not doing a quick sketch and try to get a wider value range. You should do some anatomy studies as well, and watch out for the proportions on your figures. The nose on the portrait in the first post is quite large and reminiscent of Avatar...
Your lines are awesome ! Is that a brush pen you're using ? I've got a Pentel one and it's cool and waterproof but I've been neglecting it... I think I'll break it out for some Moleskine sketches in public.
Can't wait for more ! See ya ^_^

I've decided that I really don't like my scanner anymore. Also, I always feel really stupid when I struggle to draw something from life. I really need to do that more often.

Gonna see about doing more studies digitally.. of course in addition to what I do with traditional media. Just never really feel like I have as much control with digital stuff.
I could stand to try out other programs too, I guess.

I've been doodling a lot of robot stuff recently while in class, took some time to try to flesh something out, but realized it's more tedious than I'm wanting to do right now, hahah.
