wow some of your drawings are out of control, thats great and keep doing it. your renderings are looking pretty awesome. I would recommend doing some more life drawing(anatomy studies, light studies, color studies), i think it could really help you take your drawings to the next level.

Your stuff is sick:) and looking really good. Sometimes I felt many of your characters´ feet are too much seen from the top view while the body is from frontal view. Sometimes that seems as if those guys would be flying and not standing on the ground.
That still life looks good, and so do the environments. you are doing nice stuff, keep it going!

really cool drawings. The ideas makes me think of some twisted combination of Hussar and Quake :) Your pencildrawings are nice.

if I was to give you some feedback or criticism, I would say study more anatomy - but not only anatomy but how muscles behave. Doing some life drawings where you focus on balance and stances would be great I believe. Right now I feel like the limbs and bodies are just floating around a little.

Damn dude this shit is tight. The creature designs are perfect. Spend some time working on the color pieces. Think more about lighting and dimension while you are working... I think it will help you a lot. Also on the highlights don't go full white... it's amazing how the eye with create depth with very little shift in value. Saturation, value and hue can all tell us a lot with very small variations. I only say this because I used over saturate everything and over bright all the lighting which would end making the image very flat.

These are all sick and you have a seriously creative mind.

my main critique woud be to focus on perfecting the drawing technique...you have the proportions and stuff pretty well down but your "shading" style is pretty messy...which is also one of my main problems...maybe doing whole pages of different hatching or shading techniques might help you in that...but great stuff none the less!

hey mate, thanks for commenting my sb. Never saw yours, but waaaaaaa thats the way !!!!! I like everything, your pencil mostly, the freak-show type characters. Your best piece is surely that flower jar painting.. i noticed a lot of progress in your stuff from that point. Ok you say you want crit for your enviros.. ill crit the first one cauz theres a few things bugging me in it. So the colors are not bad, but theres a lack of contrast in it, you used a bit too much brushes type in it , and it looks too messy in my opinion.. me dont know where to look and nothing pop out of that big mass in the midddle... I think you should have left more negative space in the cityscape to see more of the sky... and maybe fade some of those building in the horizon by lowering their contrast... to create a good composition. You did all this very well in your third enviro and it looks a lot better. You sahould also try to put more opacity on your brush strokes, you seem to use low opacity setting and it creates some confusing values there and there, try to put firmly your colors and tones down. Keep up with the black and white studies too, that helps a lot learning good tones. SEE YAA ! =)

Very cool character designs! but one thing though, anatomy issues are doing some harm to your concepts. Sometimes I use reference pictures for posing but also to check the anatomy, foot placement, perspective, muscle location and such things. It's good help. If you try it out, I hope it works for you as has worked for me.

Your artwork disturbs me, but I say that in the best way possible. What a diabolical imagination you have stirring up there.

For critique though I'd just love to see you try to make something 'pretty'. Bad-ass nightmarish illustrations are your strong point. I really enjoy them, and keeping a consistent 'style' through your portfolio is very important, but I'd love to try to see you make something 'soft' or 'fluffy'. Just to push yourself you know. Give me another butterfly- or a kitten.

Really digging this SB though. I'd never want to have your nightmares.

Hey man! Good stuff here, the COW and CHOWs are really something! I like the creature, but there is just that I can't see how it is a soundcreature. Something that large would primarily be a herbevore, and so would not use sound for any means of hunting, I can't see how sound would be much of a need as a defence means either as it is a so huge, it could just stomp most hunters. It might be something to think of next time you do a creature. That said it is a brilliant piece of work, imagewise, and far surpases anything I can do as far as enviroments or landscapes go.

You lack a bit of edge control, which is making it hard to read a lot of interest out of your picks, they look a little unfinished a lot of the time, and also your colours are often blended with white, or they end up in a flat white, which is not a very good way to go. This makes the images kinda dull.

All in all, you are making strides, just be sure you not only study a lot but that you study smart:)

You have some beautifully horrific character designs here which I just love, and then a lot of really strong pencil work. Is that enviro oil paint in the second most recent post? Looks great...
The figure paintings also look really nice, but the tones seem inconsistent. On some of the figures they have really vibrant, beautiful color, and then others they seem more dull. See if you can't bring that color back, and see what painting with larger brushes does, just to avoid some of the hatchy areas with the brush.
Keep up the great work...I like that self portrait. Can't wait to see more!
